Ask Yourself This Question…

And we are back! So let’s think about this one, really take a moment here and go back to the last time you did something for the first time. How did it feel? What was going through your mind? My guess was that there was a mix of excitement and uncertainty but after you finally tried it, what feelings were you left with?

Let’s be honest, trying something new doesn’t always end with great results but the honest truth is, 9 times out of 10 you walk away with something valuable when you try something new. When you hear that voice in your head saying, “No… you shouldn’t… just stick with the norm…” and you actively decide to challenge it, challenge your routine, and do something new you open up your mind to new ways of thinking.

When you get comfortable with allowing the negative voice in your head to guide your actions, you are passing up opportunity after opportunity to move closer to living the life of your dreams.

Don’t be afraid to continue to try new things. No matter what age you are or where you are from there are always opportunities to do and see new things, meet new people, and make life changing connections.

Next time you find yourself saying, “I wonder what it would be like to…..” (Talk to that girl, go sky diving, write some poetry, learn to play guitar, try a new work out, dedicate myself to a diet, or any other thing) find a way to experiment and try it!

With the internet the doors are always open, there is an unlimited amount of information for you to dive into to make what you once though was impossible your reality. Today’s the day, listen to the thoughts in your head and let the positive voice speak freely and drown out the negative voice with all the possibility flowing through your mind.

I’m back and the posts will be coming again so get ready for more motivation!
