Be the Hero of Your Own Movie

Put the headphones in, maximize this on your screen, and absorb this message:

“If your life was a movie and it started now… what would the hero of your life’s movie do right now? We define ourselves FAR too often by our past failures. We look at our past and say, ‘well that’s me’. That’s NOT you. You are this person RIGHT NOW. You are the person who has learned from those failures and you can choose to be the hero of your own movie right now!”

“Write down things that you’ve done in the past that you never wanna see yourself do again.”

– Most people are afraid to accept who they have been, to come to terms with their past mistakes so they simply accept them. Choosing never to confront them thinking that is the easier route in life. That is far from the truth, confront your fears, confront your past, accept who you were, who you are now, how you’ve grown, and most importantly who you want to be. We have all made mistakes, don’t bury them in the past where they have no value, use them as lessons, and grow right now. Become your hero today.

“Build confidence and momentum with each good decision that you make from here on out.”

– Small changes, I may sound like a broken record, but that is the key. You can’t lose twenty pounds, run fifty miles, write three hundred pages, or learn 1000 new words unless you start with one. Starting can be the hardest part but let one success build into another. Today you learned one new word, tomorrow you may learn 5, four days later you learn a few more, then all of a sudden you can speak one sentence in a new language. Start today.

“You can choose all the input that comes your way.”

There is so much wonderful content on the internet and it is literally at our finger tips. Realize that YOU choose your content, YOU choose the great majority of the influences in your life, YOU control your motivation. Start choosing positive influences and the shift in your mindset will blow you away, I promise you.

Like Joe said, go out today and be the hero of your own movie.

Thank you for always inspiring me mom, for telling me I am a hero, that I can be a hero for others as long as I believe in myself. Your words always stick with me. Dad, thank you for always supporting me in everything I do, because of you both I know we all have a hero inside of us, we just have to be brave enough to let him or her out!

Love,

Brian
