Pursue Your Dreams! (S.T.S.)

Today I am taking a big step towards one of the biggest dreams in my life. Today, I am submitting my video resume to MindValley, my dream company. This video resume is the culmination of 7 months of hard work, dedication, and loads of fun! I decided to do something different for my video resume and take on 30 different challenges over the course of 7 months to show the different qualities that I possess that will make me a great Product Development Expert at MindValley. As I have said many times before in this blog, we will never know all the incredible things that life has in store for us if we don’t reach for the stars. Go out and take a step towards your life’s biggest dreams today!

The Summary of My Past Seven Months

1. Get My Book Published = COMPLETED

–          Projected publication date end of December 2013/early January 2014

2. Run 4 My Team Triumph Events (A group dedicated to helping people with disabilities participate in endurance events) = COMPLETED

3. Start a Website to Inspire = COMPLETED

5. Speak or Study Portuguese for 100 Hours = COMPLETED

–          10/11/2013: I practiced over 100 hours in 7 months and taught myself to speak Portuguese!

–          7/19/2013: Bought my roommate a case of beer to celebrate the start of my vacation

–          8/18/2013: Took care of Maria’s car while she was on vacation

–          8/26/2013: Picked up a friend from the airport 2 hours away

–          9/3/2013: Gave a friend my brand new shoes for free

–          9/25/2013: Sent my mom a card while she was in the hospital

–          9/25/2013: Sent Evan and Kristen Alfajores all the way from Argentina

–          9/29/2013: Donated 2 cases (approximately 20 boxes per case) of tissues to a local elementary school

–          9/29/2013: Helped my friend from Brazil proofread her application to come study in the United States

Mom, thanks to you and Dad, I know I am capable of anything. You have always inspired me, motivated me, and encouraged me to pursue my dreams. Well today, I am doing exactly that! I could never thank you enough for all the love and support you have both shown me throughout my life. I can’t wait to see you soon and I love you with all of my heart!
