Have you just graduated college and gotten into your new job? Are you feeling ready for a vacation? Well take a look at this video of, “10 Trips You NEED To Take In Your 20s” to get some ideas of amazing, life changing experiences you can have for yourself and share with friends!
I put up lots of travel posts on this blog because traveling has changed my life in so many ways and it is my goal to inspire others to travel as much as possible. You find out things about yourself, about the world, about different cultures, and about different people. You learn what you like and don’t like, you test your limits, and you learn just how strong you actually are.
Take a trip and put yourself out there, you will find that you meet amazing people with stories that will captivate and mesmerize you. You will catch a glimpse of something that makes you stop in your tracks, then when you look up you will be looking at the most beautiful sight you have ever seen in your life. You will take a bite of some bizarre looking piece of food and find out it is your new favorite thing in the world.
Most importantly, when you travel, you will find yourself.
So as soon as you finish reading this blog post, hop on the internet and start searching. Find a dream location to visit, find something new that both excites and scares you a little, find the next place you want to take yourself out of your comfort zone. Once you have done that, jump over to a travel website and look at prices. Even if the price is high, once you know what it is you can start working towards it! Then once the money is saved, buy the ticket, don’t hesitate! You can always buy more things and sometimes people hit rough economic times in their lives but as they say, “travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.”
When you take your trip let yourself become the you that you know you are meant to be. Do all the things you are scared to do at home. Dance with a stranger, sing at the top of your lungs while listening to a street performer, try foods you would never try at home, go to a performance you have always wanted to see, hug someone who really needs it, get lost in a new acquaintances eyes, try to speak the local language, hike a mountain, think deeply next to a historical site, just sit and take in the moment without worrying about anything else, above all, live with no regrets. Live the life you have always wanted to and know you are meant to.
Once you take a trip and approach it with arms wide open, the travel bugs gonna bite you and give you one of the best obsessions you can have, the obsession to travel and see it all. Today’s the day to get started! I hope to meet you out there in world soon and find you with that smile on your face that only comes about when a person is living life to the fullest.
