Michael Ellsberg has a very different approach on working towards success than many people. Some try to promote using back-handed techniques to ultimately find a way to, “get yours”. Michael goes the opposite direction and puts the focus on asking what you can do to help other people achieve what they want.
Two years ago Madison Robinson started a business making flip-flops in the shapes of sea creatures that light up. Sounds like a fun hobby for a young girl right? Well it has also turned into an extremely successful business selling 60,000 units and making over 1.2 million in revenue in the past year!
This is one of my all time favorite Facebook pages called “Places to See Before You Die”. It has some of the most stunning photos of the most exotic places you can see all over the world. Pages like this remind me how important travel is in my life and how I have to find ways to see and do all these wonderful things. One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited in my life was Lagos, Portugal through Discover Excursions. During my study abroad in Spain I saw the ad for Lagos through Discover Sevilla (a group of Discover Excursions), bought my ticket, and hopped on the bus. Little did I know I was in for the best weekend of my life.
We all have said that line at one point or another in our life, “I’ll do it tomorrow.” Often times tomorrow becomes the next day, and the next day, and the next day, then never.
Think of one thing you have been putting off, “until tomorrow” and take care of it right now. Not only will you be filled with a sense of accomplishment but you will also realize how quickly you can accomplish many of these little things that have been getting put off.
Music is everywhere in our lives. In the voice of a stranger humming their favorite tune, in nature when we listen to the wind rush through the trees or when the waves are gently lapping up onto the beach, or in a small speaker playing today’s latest hits quietly at your office.
