I have heard many individuals talk about wisdom as if it is something you receive when you get older. It is like certain people think that when you reach 50 years old, someone will hand you the wisdom manual, and you will know everything you need to know about life.
In my life I have found far more often that wisdom comes from those who truly experience their lives. it comes from those people who decide to take their life and use it to make a difference for those around them. Mattie Stepanek was a young man with a rare form of muscular dystrophy who decided that he was not going to wait to move towards his destiny. Watch his story and realize that there is no better day than today, no better moment than right now, to start making a difference.
Here is the website for the Mattie Stepanek foundation, continuing to work towards Mattie’s message of peace
Thank you, Brian, for sharing this message of peace, and for sharing Mattie’s website with those who follow your blog. A nice little silver lining for my morning. Peace!

Hello Jeni,
Thank you so much for reaching out to me. I have watched so many of your sons videos as well as your speeches and I think you are an incredibly strong and intelligent woman. As amazing as Mattie was, he had to have an equally amazing mom to become the wonderful young man he was.
I would love to learn more from you about how to inspire people and motivate them to make the most of their lives. That is my goal in life and I would love to learn from the pros like you. Please keep in touch and I would love to get some insights from you on how to continue to move towards my dreams, maybe even do an interview with you for my website!
If there is anything I can do to help you spread Mattie’s message please let me know and I will do everything in my power to make it happen. His message is one every person should hear and I’d love to be a part of helping others hear it.
Wishing you nothing but the best,
Brian
